Time Should Wait is an artist book about the end of a relationship, exploring the idea that life is fleeting and nothing lasts forever, no matter how much we might want it to. Each of the eight pages features a three-layer screenprint, printed on thick printmaking paper with a deckled edge. The nostalgic feeling color palette is inspired by the time just after sunset, when everything takes on a blue cast, but there is still light in the sky. The book format allows the images to be viewed in a specific order, helping to tell a story through image and song.

This zine explores cars and car keys as symbols of ego, identity, and self-reflection. Inspired by songs that connect vehicles to personal journeys, the work combines hand-drawn car keys, bitmapped photographs of people and cars, and typewritten lyrics. Car keys are functional objects, but they’re also often sentimental—adorned with keychains, mementos, and memories.

This was my first zine, made using photos I took while spending weekends in Ybor City. I selected my favorite images and layered them in Photoshop using low opacity to create a double exposure effect, then added a halftone filter. The result is a series of graphic, abstract black and white screenprints that blends photography and printmaking.
